Personal training may be a great fit if your goals include:

  • Building strength
  • Improving balance and mobility
  • Reducing your risk of injury
  • Improving athletic performance
  • Returning to regular exercise after physical therapy
  • Feeling stronger during everyday activities

This isn't about following a generic workout. It's about creating a plan that helps you move better and keep moving forward.

A Natural Next Step After Physical Therapy

One of the biggest questions many patients have after completing physical therapy is:

“What do I do next?”

Physical therapy may help you recover mobility, function and strength following an injury, surgery or other condition, but many people want additional guidance as they return to exercise and everyday activities.

ASPIRE's personal training program provides an opportunity to continue working toward your fitness goals in a setting where movement and proper exercise technique are a priority.

That can make personal training especially valuable for people who want additional support as they transition from rehabilitation to a more independent fitness routine.

Aspire Partners with K2 Sciences to Integrate Kinaxa Software and Advance MSK Performance and Recovery

Pasadena, CA, November 1, 2025
– ASPIRE Physical Therapy & Sports Performance Training has partnered with K2 Sciences to integrate its Kinaxa software platform into select locations across the ASPIRE network.

The collaboration allows ASPIRE to bring real-time, data-driven musculoskeletal (MSK) insights directly to our practitioners and clients. Through this partnership, the Pasadena clinic is equipped with top-notch technology and receives guidance on using it effectively in our practice to enhance outcomes.

Kinaxa, developed by K2 Sciences, is a proprietary software platform that unifies data from force plates, EMG, VO2 Max, wearables, vision systems, and more—translating it into clear, actionable reports.

These outputs help therapists, coaches, and clinical staff make faster, more informed decisions regarding recovery, performance, and long-term planning.

“Our mission at K2 Sciences has always been to bridge the gap between raw data and real-world impact,” said Ashmedh Sabharwal, Co-Founder of K2 Sciences. “With Kinaxa, we’re translating complex biomechanical and physiological inputs into insights that clinicians and coaches can act on. We’re excited to partner with Aspire, whose ecosystem is primed for scalable, evidence-based performance innovation.”

Founding Team Behind Kinaxa

  • Todd Schroeder, PhD, MS, CSCS – Chief Science Officer, K2 Sciences - Associate Professor at the University of Southern California, with decades of experience in exercise physiology, movement science, and research-driven validation.
  • Ashmedh Sabharwal – Chief Commercial Officer & Co-Founder, K2 Sciences. Leads commercialization and early-stage strategy for health and performance technologies, with a focus on integrating innovation into clinical and sports settings.
  • Shayna Goldstein – Vice President, Innovation & Data Science, K2 Sciences. Oversees data architecture and algorithm development, ensuring Kinaxa transforms raw MSK data into clinically relevant insights.
  • Daniel Fox, PT, DPT, SCS, ATC – Director of Innovation, K2 Sciences. A dual-credentialed physical therapist and athletic trainer focused on bridging clinical care and performance applications using emerging technologies.

ASPIRE’s adoption of Kinaxa will empower staff to streamline assessments, track recovery over time, and tailor interventions using real-time data from force plates, metabolic carts, dynamometers, and other integrated devices.

K2 Sciences will also support ASPIRE in piloting new validation tools and advancing protocols that align with best-in-class recovery and performance practices.

The ASPIRE/K2 Sciences partnership underscores both organizations’ dedication to advancing evidence-based care and unlocking the full potential of integrated health technology.
